The task involves designing and producing plasmids, adapting transient transfection and lentiviral transduction protocols for various cell lines, characterising protein expression and function using video microscopy, and assessing the control of protein localisation using light patterning on living cells. Candidates should therefore have strong experience in these methods, particularly in molecular and cell biology.<\/p>\n<p>Our laboratory consists of eight permanent members and around a dozen young scientists, ranging from pre-doctoral to post-doctoral level. Half of them are based in Paris and the other half in Grenoble. They communicate and exchange ideas, advices and questions on a daily basis. Therefore, it is essential to have excellent communication skills and a passion for team building. Furthermore, the position is based in Paris, where there are currently only two permanent members.
